Hearings about emergence of special GT4 of the version of a compartment of a M-series from BMW soar some months, and head of the division which is responsible for development of cars with a letter of M, Kay Segler (Kay Segler), the recent interview in which he hinted at possibility of a mass production of the similar car, only poured oil on the flame. And one of these days the BMW company arranged official presentation of the long-awaited car which has received the name M3 GTS.

The compartment of BMW M3 GTS "is charged" by specially upgraded version of 4,4 l of the V-shaped 8-cylinder engine from the "usual" M3 which capacity makes 450 h.p. Besides, engineers equipped a novelty with a special case of the engine made of a special aluminum-silicon alloy, separate butterfly valves, the anti-detonation sensors executed on technologies of «an ionic stream», and also an oil pan of "wet" type.

The torque moves on back wheels by means of a 7-step transmission with double coupling. This transmission was specially finished to maintain the maximum capacity of the V-shaped 8-cylinder engine, and the DKG Drivelogic function is ideally programmed for maximum extraction from the power plant.

Wide, in the form of bee honeycombs, a front grille, an adjusted back wing, an adjustable front bumper and the modified aerodynamic elements – all this for 100 % reflects wildly sports orientation of a compartment of BMW M3 GTS. To all this specially developed 19-inch blacked-out cast disks "put" in tires 225/35 in front and 285/30 behind, guarantee excellent coupling with the road.
