Porsche is preparing a new modification of the model 911

This is a modified 911 GT3. The world premiere is planned for the coupe in 2013. It will be held at the International Motor Show in Geneva


The seventh generation of the Porsche 911 began producing in 2011. But at this point in production did not all vehicle modifications. Thus, modifications in the line 911 is not enough versions of GT3. Its premiere will take place in about a year - at the Geneva International Motor Show, which traditionally opens in March.
According to information received by the publication Autocar, the new Porsche 911 GT3 in addition to the corrected appearance will receive a slightly upgraded engine. This means that instead of the current 435-horsepower 3.8-liter gasoline six-cylinder boxer engine will produce 450 "mares." Dynamic characteristics of sports car will also grow, but what exactly limits - to date unknown.
But we know that the car will lose its traditional mechanical transmission, and in return receive a box of proprietary robotic PDK. It should be noted that, despite the greater weight of the unit, the new Porsche 911 GT3 not only add but also throw the weight around 40 pounds. This will occur through the use of new materials in the body.
